Head Coach - Dusty Vaughn

The Hawk Wrestling Club was founded by Dusty Vaughn, who is the head wrestling coach at Skyview High School and South Middle School in Nampa, Idaho. Coach Vaughn began his coaching career at Alamosa High School in Colorado as an assistant coach. He then moved on to become the head coach at Lassen High School. Dusty then accepted a position as the head coach of Lassen Community College. During his time at Lassen College, Coach Vaughn was named the Big 8 Conference Coach of the Year. He has over 15 years of experience as a professional teacher and coach. In the Winter of 2021, Coach Vaughn also completed his Master’s in Sports and Performance Psychology.

Outside of teaching and coaching, Coach Vaughn is supported by his wife (Kirby) and their two children. “As a family, we all enjoy anything that we can do together, especially the outdoors; whether it is camping, fishing, or spending time with our extended family and friends.”
